James Ladd serves as an experienced customer service representative in Portland, Oregon. He is also a dedicated member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the Portland suburb of Beaverton. Among his other volunteer activities with Holy Trinity, James Ladd served as a Eucharistic minister with the Church’s Our Homebound Friends program.
In addition to offering regular masses and reconciliation, the Holy Trinity Catholic Church supports a wide range of community outreach programs. As Holy Trinity’s homebound ministry, Our Homebound Friends offers Holy Communion and other religious services to parishioners who are unable to make it to the Church’s central location on Beaverton’s SW Walker Road.
Individuals who face a prolonged absence from mass due to serious illness, disability, and/or advanced age can receive visits from Our Homebound Friends volunteers at private residences as well as assisted living centers. Our Homebound Friends fully trains minister volunteers prior to their first visit. After that, these minister volunteers commit to making one visit each week on the day of their choosing.
